On 9-20-19, Units from the VBFD and VBEMS assisted NAS Oceana with their Air Show that will be going on this weekend. The main attraction this year is the USAF Thunder Birds. However, on this day 5th Grade students from Virginia Beach Public Schools and Chesapeake Public Schools were given their on show as part of the Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (S.T.E.M.) program.
