On 5-10-20 around 1751 hours, VBFD responded to a multifamily fire in the 2200 block of East Berrie Circle located in the Chesapeake Beach section of the city. Units were on scene within 4 minutes and reported having smoke and fire showing and requested a 2nd alarm assignment. Exterior fire attack was immediately begun using a 2 ½” hose line to knock the bulk of the fire down. The fire was marked under control at 1812 hours. Three individuals would need housing assistance. No civilian or firefighter injuries were reported and the cause is under investigation.
