On 1-8-20 around 1220 hours, VBFD was dispatched to the 2300 block of Atlantic Avenue to the Comfort Suites after someone noticed smoke coming from the roof of the building. The fire was actually burning between the membrane of the roof. A roofing crew was doing work at the time. The fire was under control at 1257 hours. The exact cause of the fire is still under investigation. No one was injured and the fire was contained to a small area of the roof.
