Not all calls for service is heart racing. On 4-3-20, VBFD Engine 10 responded to a brush fire on Elbow road. Once on scene, a tree was on fire about 30-40 feet up it’s trunk. Dominion Energy Virginia was requested to respond out to disconnect the power in order to extinguish the fire safely. There were strong winds blowing causing the tree to rub against the power line creating an arc.
