On 2-7-2020 around 1811 hours, units from the VBFD, VBEMS and VBPD responded to the 400 block of North Witchduck Road for a vehicle crash with an entrapment. Upon arrival, 2 vehicles were involved with heavy damage to both vehicles. One vehicle was overturned and blocking access to one victim. Fire crews pulled away one vehicle to access the victim. 6 patients were transported to area hospitals with 1 patient being airlifted to Sentara Norfolk General Hospital by Nightingale Air Ambulance. The cause of the crash is under investigation by the VBPD.
