On 3-22-20 around 2224 hours, VBFD responded to a residential fire in the 2500 block of Seaview Avenue that is located in the Chesapeake Beach section of the city. Engine 4 was first on scene and reported heavy smoke conditions as they entered the structure. The fire was marked out at 2311 hours. Crews removed the family dog from the structure and administered oxygen to it but was not able to save the pet. Four individuals would be displaced. No civilian or firefighter injuries were reported. The cause is under investigation.
